Scale Meeting 9/14/03

Preparation for our neck building adventure

This months meeting was filled with a lot of information. Gary lectured and entertained us with his lecture on Neck Building 101.
He calls it all a matter of trade-offs.
The meeting started with the usual new member introductions which is great. We are adding new members every meeting. Gary as always passed out more informative handouts. General business questions were answered and we were shown some choices for the SCALE member T-shirts. A choice form will be posted on the web site for the members to choose which shirt design they like best. The form will be posted on the membership side of our SCALe web site.
Next, Gary informed us about some of the correspondence and operating concerns of SCALe. Kirk Sands wrote him a nice email urging us to continue our efforts with this association. It is gratifying to know we are getting support from some of the best builders on the planet. Rudy, our webmaster is deep in the debugging jungle of our membership side to the web site. We hope to get the bugs out soon. It has been 3 months since we were ready to post up the new Guitarbuilder Magazine, but the site is still not ready. Please be patient. It is going to be worth the wait.
Now on the the meeting. No pictures this time. Gary Forgot the camera. He said, "There is never a good personal assistant around when you don't have one." Yea, right!
I will write more later.
