Matty Baratto Cigar Box Guitars

These featured guitars are from guitar builder
Matty Baratto. Although not technically a guitar.
It plays and feels like a small guitar and there is a
6 string version. These unique instruments have
good acoustic volume and are extremely fun to

This is a short promotion for SCALe member, Gary Erickson's Company Erickson Design Associateshas. EDA has always worked toward promoting innovation and advancement through acoustic research.

EDA's research has finally resulted in major breakthroughs
to the benefit of all stringed musical instrument builders.

The following information is intended to inform our
readers about Erickson Design Associates major breakthroughs.
Most of the origional members of SCALe have heard about the Ruby
saddles from early on in the first meetings of the SCALe
organization. Here are a few pictures from the archives
showing some of the early applications of the Ruby
technology. Most of the members can't wait to put this
technology on their custom instruments.
